Lovelace Engineering is seeking Architectural Engineering students for the position of Summer Intern. This position is ideal for a student who desires to gain valuable structural design experience in all materials (wood, steel, concrete, masonry) and to be strongly considered for a full time position after college studies are complete. We have a very nice office with a relaxed and supportive working environment a few miles from Del Mar beach and all of our engineers are graduates of Cal Poly’s Architectural Engineering Program.
Lovelace Engineering has been in business for over 20 years and is very well regarded in San Diego and throughout southern California. Our engineers work on a variety of diverse and challenging projects, including both residential and commercial building structures.
Minimum Requirement: A junior or senior enrolled in the Cal Poly Architectural Engineering Program. Experience with AutoCAD, Enercalc, Excel, and RISA software and previous work/internship in residential structural design is a plus.
